O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour’s birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining.
Till He appeared and the Spirit felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, the night when Christ was born;
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!

Let us pray:

O God, who has planned from ages past this most blessed of nights

Heavenly Father, Earth bound Son, Spirit of joy and blessing
Our joy overflows
Laughter fills us our hearts
Your grace fills the earth

Nativity brings hope and promise
Immanuel has arrived, our God is now one with us
Giver of life and light, we welcome your birth among us
Honouring you with our hearts and inviting you to come in and dwell with us
This night and every night, for all eternity, come and find a home in us, we pray.

O angels from on high, sing of his greatness, announce God’s love

Never again will his people be caught in their sins
Into our sin, salvation has come
Gift of Heaven we adore you, we sing of your greatness
Holy child, we dedicate our living to you
To you we give our service, for you we will share your love.

Divine and holy God, we give you thanks
In Jesus you have called us forth
Victory is his now and forever
Invest in us to serve him and praise him for all of our days
Now, tonight, and for all days, we will serve and praise him, our salvation
Eternity cannot hold our praises.  Amen.
